Volunteer with us

There are many ways to volunteer within The Light House ministry. We’re grateful for each and every one.

Counselling support

 We would welcome applications from qualified counsellors who would like to join our counselling team as an associate counsellor.

We also have a limited number of places for students on placement. Students will need to be studying at a minimum of Diploma level 4 and meet our selection requirements before being accepted.

Please note that all those involved in counselling are expected to be committed Christians and will be required to sign a statement to that effect. This is classified as a ‘Genuine Occupational Requirement’ in accordance with the ethos of the Light House and with the Equality Act 2010. 

General support

• Regular admin help for our fundraiser
• Regular admin help for our office especially to cover holidays and sickness.
• Other roles such as gardening, D.I.Y., painting & decorating.
